Every box that leaves my shop is thoughtfully curated and hand-packed just for you. I believe in the care of curation—selecting pieces I genuinely love, and taking time to make each package feel like it was made with you in mind.
How it started
I spent years in retail, managing teams dedicated to putting our products' best foot forward and working closely with key buyers to share insights from the front lines. When that chapter closed, I pivoted to a career in IT — but a piece of my heart never left retail.
Entrepreneurship runs in my blood. I come from a long line of hardworking, business-minded parents and grandparents, and owning my own business has always been a dream of mine. As a single mom, my son was my world and my priority — but with him off to college now (Love you, Bud ❤️), I finally found the space to pursue something just for me.
One day, while putting together a gift for someone I loved, I realized how much joy I found in carefully selecting items that would make people smile. It struck me that so many people are busy, and may not have the time to treat themselves or thoughtfully curate a unique, meaningful gift for someone they care about. Maybe I could fill that void.
Curating Gifts
Every bundle you see in this shop started with a real person on the receiving end. That is not marketing language, that is how the whole business is designed.
Before we pack anything, you tell us a few things about your recipient. Their favorite scents. What they eat and drink. What comforts them. What they would never buy for themselves. What would make them laugh.
From those answers, I handpick 15 to 25 items from our studio shelves, arrange them in a lined box, tie a ribbon, and send it off in within five to seven business days.
No algorithm picks the items. I do. That is the whole point.
How We Work
Here is what happens after you place an order:
Tell me about the recipient Using the Special Instructions box on each product, tell me about the person I'm curating the box for.
- Consider including: Favorite movies, tv shows, music genres, fond memories, pastimes, colors, key identifying characteristics, career, parent of a girl/boy, favorite prints. What an ideal day would look like. Anything to help me curate the perfect bundle!
- Also tell me if some sass is ok, or if I should keep the bundle clean :).
- If you run out of room, no problem. Go the Contact us page and send me as much information as you like! Don't forget to include your order number and which bundle it applies to.
I read every answer. Not a bot, not a virtual assistant. Me. I make notes in your file about what will and will not go in.
I handpick from our studio shelves. I keep an inventory of 200+ items curated for their quality, longevity, and gift-ability. Every bundle pulls from that shelf.
I pack and photograph. Every box is packed on my studio table, ribbon-tied, note-carded, and photographed before it ships. Signature Bundle buyers get to see the photo before we send.
It ships gift-ready. Nothing needs to be repacked, unwrapped, or 'fixed up' by the recipient. Open the outer bag, take out the inner gift box, hand it over.
What We Believe
- Small details matter. A sock in the right color. A candle in a scent she loved before she said the word 'lavender' out loud. A pen with a warm walnut grain because you told me your dad works with his hands. Nothing in a bundle is filler.
- Personalization is the whole product. If two people order the same 'Wellness Bundle,' they should get two different boxes, because they are giving them to two different people. That is the promise.
- Real value, not padded contents. Every bundle contains items with a retail value at least 2x the box price. We do not fill space with tissue paper and confetti to make the box look larger.
- Small business, honestly. I run this out of my home studio. That means I know every box that ships, I answer every message myself, and I care what happens on the other end.
Behind the Scenes
A few things about the studio you should know:
Our shop is a home studio. I work from a dedicated packing space, but our home is our home. That means the studio has pets in it (one dog, one cat, all well behaved and all mildly obsessed with the ribbon). If you have severe animal allergies, please read our pet disclosure before ordering. Every item is stored in sealed containers, but the studio itself is a lived-in space.
The hand-turned pens are made by a partner. The artisan pens and wine stoppers you see in the shop are made by Bartling Custom Woodworking, an independent studio I collaborate with. Every pen is turned by hand.
We ship from the United States. Every bundle ships from our studio via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the destination. Domestic orders should arrive within 5 to 7 business days after production.
Every ribbon is tied by hand. Every note card is handwritten by me. If your handwriting is better than mine (a low bar), you can upload a photo of your handwritten note at checkout and we will copy it. Yes, really.
A Note from Me
If you are reading this page, you are probably a few clicks away from sending a gift to someone who matters. That is not a small thing. I take it seriously, and I would rather ship one perfect bundle than ten mediocre ones.
